Brisbane hosts 10th annual Pop-Up

Brisbane Pop-Up

Brisbane’s signature business events exhibition Pop-Up was held for the tenth year in August, featuring 20 new exhibitors.

Brisbane Convention Bureau General Manager Juliet Alabaster said the event was an action-packed exhibition giving event planners a personal taste of Brisbane’s unique event products.

“Brisbane Pop-Up was attended by more than 260 event planners from associations, corporations, government, academia and PCO organisations - all seeking an efficient event planning experience,” Ms Alabaster said.

“Attendees had the opportunity to meet with more than 80 Brisbane exhibitors and discover the city’s newest, recently improved and always unique products.

“Brisbane’s continued growth has given rise to a number of new four and five-star hotels, and exclusive event venues to suit functions of all sizes.

“Among our 20 new exhibitors were the recently opened W Brisbane and Emporium Hotel South Bank, as well as the Novotel Brisbane South Bank, Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane, The Westin Brisbane, and The Calile Hotel.

“Other first-time exhibitors included Ovolo Inchcolm Brisbane, Spicers Hidden Vale, Pig ‘N’ Whistle West End, Fresh Catering at Queensland Museum, the Queensland Tennis Centre, and more.

"In true Brisbane Pop-Up style, the event was both functional and fun, with exhibitors going all out with the styling of their stands and prize draws.”
