Inbound tour operators experience the best of Brisbane
The Brisbane Business Events team recently hosted nine inbound tour operators on a three-day familiarisation of Brisbane’s diverse selection of incentive offerings.

Guests were treated to experiences unique to Brisbane and its surrounds. Highlights included the exclusive Marvel: Creating the Cinematic Universe exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art, a welcome ceremony by Brisbane Aboriginal tribe Nunukal Yuggera at Newstead House, koala cuddling at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, wine tasting and a round of Supa Golf at Sirromet Winery, feasting at Eat Street Northshore and a scenic helicopter flight over the sparkling waters of Moreton Bay to Tangalooma Island Resort.

New and improved venues and dining experiences also featured. Guests inspected the transforming events and lifestyle destination of Howard Smith Wharves, took in panoramic views from the refurbished Queensland Cricketers’ Club, dined on modern Italian cuisine at the hatted Otto Ristorante, and enjoyed wine and whiskey tasting at rustic bar Baedeker.

Sam Gilbertson, an Event Specialist with Equity Travel, was delighted with the diversity of product uncovered through the famil.
“It was easily one of the most well-organised famil trips I’ve been on and I had an awesome time. I look forward to coming back to Brisbane soon and hopefully working with you in the future."
