“From our rooftop restaurant and bar to access to a luxury Mercedes AMG SUV, fully equipped gym and event facilities, Hotel X really has it all,” says General Manager Daniel Moran. “We’ve already successfully hosted a variety of events here, including the ability to host fashion shows on our mezzanine level and new car launches.”

The five-star hotel boasts panoramic views of the City, and is located in close proximity to a number of popular Brisbane dining and entertainment precincts..

“We offer the proximity to the City, however there’s also the boutiques of James Street and the many bars and restaurants of Howard Smith Wharves right on your doorstep,” Moran says. “It’s an ideal location positioned in between two iconic Brisbane destinations.”

Moran says Hotel X’s comprehensive facilities give the venue a distinct advantage in the competitive conference market.

“We understand the needs of the business traveller who seeks friendly service, a great location and ease of access to facilities, but is also keen to explore what’s new and on offer from their home away from home.”

“We wanted to make travel easy for our guests,” he says. “We have free transfers within a 2km radius of the hotel, or they can book a private airport transfer in our Hotel X Mercedes AMG SUV.”

Every detail of the traveller’s experience has been carefully taken into account, with the hotel’s 146 rooms complete with premium amenities including ghd hair straighteners, Dyson hair dryers, electric blinds, a pillow menu and the Karl Lagerfeld range of bathroom amenities.

While there are a number of bars and restaurants close by, the food and beverage offerings at the hotel’s own Mediterranean-inspired Iris Rooftop Restaurant and French bistro Bisou Bisou are hard to beat.

Catering for events of all sizes

Hotel X offers a number of exciting spaces to host your next event. Whether it’s a day delegate meeting, intimate celebration or large gala party, the hotel can offer an array of options to suit audiences of all sizes. Catering for up to 250 guests with two onsite restaurants, rooftop bar and mezzanine function space there is a space to cater for every event.

The agile function room opens onto a 50m2 terrace overlooking bustling Brunswick Street. Custom-built to cater for all kinds of functions, from corporate conferences to intimate gatherings, it’s a fully flexible space with several configurations. It can be kept at its full size or divided into three smaller spaces – X, Y and Z – for multiple uses.

Bisou Bisou’s function space accommodates up to 160 guests for cocktail functions and 110 guests for seated functions.The function space is flexible, and can also be used in full or divided up into three smaller event spaces. If the event is more intimate, the dining space at Bisou Bisou accommodates seated functions for up to 24 guests.

The Iris Rooftop Bar offers five event spaces. These beautifully designed, Mediterranean-inspired spaces can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 250 guests depending on the type of event or function.
