Industry leader in heat treatment wins Lord Mayor’s Business Award

HTA – the nation’s largest commercial and aerospace heat treater - has won the Australia Pacific LNG Award for Business Innovation in the 2017 Lord Mayor’s Business Awards.

Lord Mayor Graham Quirk said HTA was established in Brisbane in 1979 and has evolved into a global leader for the industry, with other branches now in Sydney, Melbourne and Los Angeles.

HTA offers a comprehensive thermal heat treatment service to customers for aerospace, defence, mining, oil and gas, and medical industries throughout Australia, the United States, Asia and the UK. The company is also the only heat treating facility in the Australia with AS9100 and Nadcap accreditation.

All HTA sites are equipped with industry leading technology and cutting-edge processing equipment, while it enhances supply chains by offering a highly skilled workforce, providing value for money and taking a customer-driven approach.

HTA was recognised for the significant advances it has made in the field of heat-treating, including the development of new processes.
