Clayton Utz has a proud history in Brisbane, and in Australia. For over 180 years, our confident approach to complex transactions and litigation has seen us grow to become Australia’s leading independent law firm.
With a genuine commitment to client service, we are trusted advisers to a diverse base of private and public sector organisations. Our clients include many of Australia's top financial institutions, multinational corporations operating in a range of sectors, and local, state and Australian government departments and agencies.
Our reputation for professional excellence and innovation extends to our leadership in Pro Bono and Social Responsibility, which is a fundamental part of the Clayton Utz culture.
We have a world-class Pro Bono practice which focuses on access to justice for low-income and disadvantaged people. In 2015 we passed the milestone of 500,000 pro bono hours of legal service since our Pro Bono practice was established in 1997 - the most pro bono work ever conducted by a law firm in Australia, and any outside of the United States.
Our people are actively involved in giving back to the communities in which they live and work. In 2003 we established the Clayton Utz Community Connect program to formalise our giving, volunteering and in-kind contributions to a range of non-profit organisations with which our people have a connection.
Clayton Utz is proud to sponsor the award for Corporate Citizenship.
