The Osbourne opens its doors in The Valley

Settle into the newly opened The Osbourne Hotel in the Valley and soak up more than 153 years of Brisbane history over a beer, wine or old-fashioned cocktail. The hotel (formerly known as The Fringe Bar and Kerbside, The Dead Rat and the Rat and Parrot), has undergone an extensive restoration to be stripped back to its original colourings, fittings and layout. Craft, local and international beer flows from the venue’s 94 taps, along with pub food with a difference, a great Australian wine list and some good old-fashioned cocktails; plus a new leafy beer garden and customised function and meeting rooms and a private dining room. Sitting on the corner of Ann and Constance Streets, The Osbourne was the second hotel to open in the Valley in 1864 and carries a very colourful history. Find out more.
