St Joseph's Nudgee College
St Joseph’s Nudgee College was established in 1891 and is one of the oldest continuing Catholic boys’ boarding schools in Australia. More than 1500 boys and young men from Years 5 to 12, including over 250 boarders, call Nudgee College their school.
On a daily basis students are taught, cared for and challenged by teachers who want to bring out the best in all of their students. The immense diversity within the curriculum, as well as throughout the college’s co-curricular Activities Program ensures that every boy will be able to find and develop their strengths.
Across a campus of 136 hectares, the college features a range of facilities that provide an engaging environment to learn, to grow and to be challenged. From 15 playing fields, to an Olympic-standard athletics track, state-of-the-art music and art studios, and an onsite agricultural centre, students are always able to access high-quality facilities to match their interests.
As a leading Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition, the culture and values of the college are shaped and influenced by the touchstones of inclusive community, gospel spirituality, liberating education, and justice and solidarity. Nudgee College strives to develop young men of big hearts and good character. Ultimately, Nudgee College boys are called to live out the college motto "Signum Fidei", to be "a sign of faith" to all.
