2018 Student Ambassadors

The Brisbane International Student Ambassador Program adopts students from all over the world to tell their real-life Brisbane stories to their home country networks via social media. Each year, 40 students from around the world are formally appointed. The 2018 Brisbane International Student Ambassadors represent 30 countries and study at 21 Brisbane institutions.

Ali Shah is from Karachi, Pakistan and is studying a dual postgraduate degree at Griffith University.

Atsushi is from Osaka in Japan and is studying General English at Navitas English.

Although originally from France, Audrey has grown up all over the world. She studies at Griffith University.

Benjamin is from Ottawa, Canada and is studying human kinetics at QUT.

Chiara is from Rome, Italy and is studying at Diploma in Early Childhood Education at the Queensland International Institute.

Daiki grew up on the beaches of Japan and is studying a Bachelor of Information Technology at UQ.

Engolberth is from Kainantu, Papua New Guinea and is studying an Advanced Diploma in Leadership Management at Charlton Brown College.

Hazel is from Nairobi, Kenya and studies a Bachelor of Environmental Management at the University of Queensland.

Heeju is from Seoul, Korea and is studying a Diploma of Digital Media Technologies at Australian Business School.

Henrique is from Curitiba, Brazil and is studying Civil Engineering at Site Institute.
